ADJAM PROMOS TEXT MESSAGES

LOS ANGELES, January 5, 2010: Over the past twenty-four hours, it has come to the attention of our association that many people nationwide are receiving spam text messages referencing “Adjam Promos” and a “network partner” referral from short code 66337. When “Adjam” is searched on the web, thinkLA is one of the first links to appear.

AdJam is an event that thinkLA has produced for over nine years and it is unfortunate to have this coincidental name association with a spam text message.

We can assure everyone thinkLA has nothing to do with these messages.

Due to the large volume of complaints we have received, we have contacted the FCC and the major carriers and have determined short code 66337 is owned by a company called Moonshado, Inc. We have contacted Moonshado, Inc. to alert them as such.

Furthermore, thinkLA has previously partnered with two mobile messaging companies to enhance the AdJam event experience for attendees: SNAP e-Media, Inc. and Myxer.com. Both companies are very professional with a strict adherence to privacy standards. Neither SNAP e-Media, Inc., nor Myxer.com work with Moonshado, Inc., nor do they have any knowledge of the company or its practices.

Please be assured that thinkLA is working hard on your behalf through the proper channels to have the text messages stopped.
