LOS ANGELES -- November 20, 2008 – thinkLA announced today BBC.com will be the presenting sponsor of thinkLA’s 61st Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Party. Founded in Los Angeles in 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has been continuously supported through toy collection drives by the Los Angeles advertising community and trade association, now known as thinkLA.
thinkLA is excited to partner with BBC.com, a new addition to the Los Angeles advertising community. Recognized throughout the world as providing insight, quality, depth and value, BBC.com launched one year ago as the international version of the highly regarded UK site. The respected news and entertainment site is supported by advertising sales office in North Hollywood, Chicago and New York. The event will be held on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at the historic Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. More than 600 members of the advertising, media and marketing communities are expected to be in attendance. Festivities will include a live musical performance, ice skating rink, Marine Corps Color Guard presentation and a photo experience.
